Since 2008, a group of users, operators, researchers and specialists from Material Testing Reactors (MTR) throughout the world have been gathering each year to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences particular in line with the scope of their activities. As in previous meetings, the nearest 7th International Symposium on Material Testing Reactors (ISMTR), encourages participants to engage in teamwork and create relationships that promote the continuous development and expansion of this collaborative worldwide network of specialists, organizations and companies involved in material testing reactor operation, utilization and design, closing up relationships and promoting team working.
This year's ISMTR-7 symposium will be held on October 20-23, 2014 in Otwock - Swierk, near Warsaw, Poland, and be hosted by the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ). The NCBJ operates high flux Research Reactor MARIA: nuclear facility, which provides a broad range of irradiation services to the commercial sector and to the research community.
