The main airport in Warsaw known as the International Airport Frederic Chopin (WAW) is located 10 km from the city center. The second airport Modlin (WMI) is located 40 km in the of the city center and used particularly by low cost air carriers.
Transportation from airports to the city center
To get out of airport WAW to the city center you have the options as follows:
• Taxi cabs (please use companies recommended by airport authorities / list companies presented on airport lobby): estimate cost 10-15 EUR
• Bus no. 175 / tickets available at automatic machine (payment by coins or credit cards); Running daily between 04:58 - 23:27; ticket price 4.80 PLN (ca 1.20 EUR)
To get out of airport WMI to the city center you have the options as follows
• Taxi cabs (please use companies recommended by airport authorities / list companies presented on airport lobby): estimate cost 40-50 EUR.
• ModlinBus: a direct, express shuttle service that connects the city center with the Warsaw-Modlin Airport terminal / tickets can be purchased online, at the airport kiosk, or directly at the bus (payment by coins or credit cards)
